LOST CIVILIZATION Walkthrough by Malthae

This is an awesome solo XP zone. The EQ that loads here is mostly useless, but you might as well get a few EQ points while you are XPing.

From zone entrance, follow the path down into the forest: S, S, D, E, S, D, D (cramped), S (cramped), W, W, D, W, S, E, S (notice the stone archway, you will need to come back to this room), D. Now you are in the forest. Go: S, E, S, E, S, S, E, S, E, S You should now see: The half-decayed remains of a man are impaled upon a large stake. Type "GET ALL CORPSE", "OPEN LOCKET", "GET ALL LOCKET", "DROP LOCKET" You now have: a small key made from obsidian

Go into town. Backtrack to the first room in the forest: N. W. N, W, N, N, W, N, W, N, S, S, S, W, S, S, E, E, S, S, S, E, S, S, W, S, S, E, S, W, S, S, S,

You are now at: The Gates of Kaliria Go 4 South LOOK WOMAN She loads a special little thing from time to time, keep an eye on her. (SEARCH, S, SEARCH, E provides a little path to the back alley's if you want some easy XP with the rats) N, W, W, S, S, W, W, W, N, N, SEARCH, W

You are now in the Swamp N, W, W, W, S, S, W, You are now on An Island in the Swamp go N, Up

Kill Mandaleus (fully dissable) GET BAR CORPSE

Now, go back to the city D, S, W, N, N, E, E, E, S, E

Go back into the Forest: N, N, E, N, E, E, E, E, N, N,

Go back to the the Stone Archway: N, N, E, N, W, N, N, E, N, N, W, N, N, N, W, W, N, N, E, N, N, N, UP

UNLOCK STONE, OPEN STONE, GET ALL STONE,

Go back to the Temple: D, S, S, S, W, S, S, E, E, S, S, S, E, S, S, W, S, S, E, S, W, S, S, S, S, S, S, W, W, W, SEARCH, S, UNLOCK SEAL DOWN, OPEN SEAL, DOWN There are a couple cramped rooms down here. Go S, Kill Korangar (dissable, !bash, !trip) He loads: the rod of spell turning - Lev(21) Loc(wield) AW 4d8 AE sbr(-3) ss(-3) Cond(pristine - 185 Days) (Base I think) Go W and kill Vendange(dissable, !BS, trippable, bashable,) Go N, W, W, and kill Tiniopia(fully dissable, !trip, !bash) Tiniopia loads: a cloak of human hair - Lev(24) Loc(neck) AG sbr(-3) wis(-2) Cond(pristine - 185 Days)

Go W, W, and kill the big boss, Ybbez(dissable, !trip, !bash, !bs) he loads: a band of demon skin - Lev(23) Loc(wrist) AG hps(21) sbr(2) Cond(pristine - 185 Days) the scalp of Ybbez - Lev(24) Loc(head) AC-ap(4) AG hps(2Cool wis(-3) Cond(pristine - 185 Days)

You can get an easy 29 EQ points from this zone.

Also, In the City and Swamp, you can get some good xp.

Soldiers in the city load some wooden vambraces +6hr +2ss base

Guardians load some nice brass rings, I own a couple that have popped +30hp -3sbr

Vandange has been known to drop Earth crystals.

You dont need the locket key, the door to the swamp is pickable. Keyword if I remember correctly is "stone". Other than that, good walkthrough.
