Medievia Logs[edit]

Player-submitted logs of Medievia gameplay. Usually CPK.

How to upload a log[edit]

On your computer[edit]

  1. Rename your log to be YEAR-MONTH-DAY-SUMMARY.txt. File name example: 2014-7-18-clan76-cpks-fred-at-coliseum.txt
  2. Remember what folder the file is in  :)

On wiki website[edit]

  1. Open this link in a new tab: Upload your log (max 2MB size)
    1. Click "Choose File", and pick your log file to upload
    2. Ignore everything else and click "Upload File" at the bottom
    3. When the upload is complete, you will be redirected to a page that has a URL like: http://noric.org/wiki/index.php/File:2014-10-19-Sarion-whyudodis.txt
    4. Copy the bold part to clipboard: http://noric.org/wiki/index.php/File:2014-10-19-Sarion-whyudodis.txt
    5. If you're having trouble finding your uploaded file on the wiki, use this link to see a list of recently uploaded files.
  2. On this page, add a new link to your log. Full link example: [[Media:2014-10-19-Sarion-whyudois.txt|Sarion Why u Do this in Warrens]]
    1. Find the correct date section (eg. 2014)
    2. Click Edit
    3. On a new line, type * [[Media:
    4. Hit Ctrl-V to paste your file url
    5. Now type "|" followed by a suitable description for your log, e.g. |Sarion Why u Do this in Warrens
    6. , then type ]] to finish the wiki link.
    7. Your full link should look like [[Media:2014-10-19-Sarion-whyudois.txt|Sarion Why u Do this in Warrens]]
    8. At the bottom, click Preview, try clicking the link, it should go to the log
    9. At the bottom, click Save Page
    10. Double check that your new link works! Thanks for uploading!
