Walkthrough
Setup
These first steps can be solo'd or low-manned.
- Make sure you have a bandana. It helps to keep one on you all the time because it saves you the bother of killing a mob every time. If you don't have one, head east in forest and find illus east into town, run around there till you find a mob with bandana (most of them have it). Dispel, ice, loot. Every person who's helping you with this part needs one.
- On main path, go all e to library. In library search till down opens and grab stone there. Get back to main path of forest (the path north from ent). - THIS STEP IS NO LONGER NEEDED because apparently the search where you use stone is pickable.
- All north to guardian. Wear bandana, all w, all n. You only need bandana to get past him this one time. In that NW corner search for exit down (with stone, or pick it). D 2S and dispel ice hermit. 1S is cramped btw. Loot. The only things you really want are key and sliver (1/6)
- Go 2n u all s, e to guardian, s till great oak (it'll have exits NESWU). Sanc up and stuff. Next mob is a joke but in cpk. There are 3 total rooms above you: 1u, 1u 1e, and 2u. 2u is locked and can be unlocked with key. 1u is gas room. 1u 1e is perfectly normal cpk room. Technically people can hide in there, but i've never seen anyone there. Go 1u, unl open hatch, u and kill crow. Use melee or one shockwave, it has like 7 hps. Loot token and go back 2d to form.
- All n to guardian, give him token. He'll fall asleep and give you sliver (2/6) and key to gate.
Full Run
After setup, you need a large form to complete zone.
- N, 2W, ice Enarus. He'll have totally useless eq and a key to trapdoor down
- Note: the head item on Enarus is 4dex/4str so it's HUGE for ele sets).
- Unl open trapdoor. Solo down into cpk and find hundaros (use at least four letters, otherwise you'll be looking at HUNgry creepers). Preferably lure it to NW corner on W wall because there is a lever/handle that you need there. Obviously if you suspect a rush, lure anywhere but there. You can pull the lever at any time now. Once lured, bring form down and kill him for sliver (3/6) and crowbar (key) and again useless eq, though dagger can be ok for newbie (5d6 with some dr/hp). Get out of cpk to where you killed Enarus.
- 2e all n and kill wall (blocker). If you feel like it, you can lure other mobs out of room first.
- All up, e n e (cramped but don't get form in), pull handle, and back w. All w n w sr and ice two walls (blockers). Same deal with luring other stuff. Blind should also be pretty easy.
- All u, e,n,e, pull lever,w,w, ice 3 walls (blockers). Have form tick.
- Solo all up, e, all n. If general is in this room alone, sr and go get form. If not, lure other mobs out CAREFULLY (they hit hard and bash), since general does not move. Bring form to general and ice him. When he pales/clings he'll shout something about you not getting out alive and break the lock on a handle (ie you can't go back out where you came from). Guess what - we don't care. Loot him, he loads a really nice gwar wield (sword of sanctity, 5dr/30+ hps), sliver (4/6), key for next mob, and boots of the tower (4dr/-1ss gthief).
- Take form e and search with crowbar till down opens. My suggestion is tell form to go all d 1n because that's the room where you killed first wall (All d may have mobs). While people are ticking solo 2s all e n 2w n e and sr this room. Lure mobs out of this room and i usually lure them out of 1w too. Once ready, bring form there. Unlock doors and instruct people to blind guardian and ice it. Guardian conjures mists but they will be blind if he's blind and won't hit you (for obvious reasons, don't room). He also dispels quite a bit so iceshield is suggested. Mostly you will make people heal a lot while melee and a bit of casting ices him. Move form back w as soon as he dies (this is why i clear 2w, so you can spam it).
- Now we're up to demons. They can be done in any order. You will obviously do the one on the lower level first otherwise you'll be running back and forth. Take form all e s w 2s e d, sr, and ice green demon. He charges if he's wielding an emerald shard. Short-term solution: disarm. Long-term solution: plague. Also room procs acid on you so ice him asap. Demons are usually best with healing staves. Loot for emerald shard and green parchment.
- Go u, w, all n, all e, make sure people are sneaking/invis and go all up kinda fast (don't let people fall though because these mobs are aggro). All up is !mob, can tick.
- C fire protection and sanc, and go 2e,s,e,d, sr. Ice red demon. The room is a fire room, and he casts acid blast so muffle would be best and ice him quickly. When he's dead, loot ruby shard and parchment and go back to !mob (u,w,n,w,w). Keep in mind that he blocks 1n so kinda annoying to flee.
- C ice protection and sanc, and go w w n w d, sr, ice blue demon. He tremors (really annoying) and dispels (even more annoying because to sanc people you need to stand, succeed in fleeing up (he blocks north too), go back down, and sanc person hoping nothing hits you yet. Muffle, kill quick. Room of course is cold room. Loot sapphire shard and parchment and go north.
- From n of blue solo e y u, open door, e and lure priest into either this room or 1s. Don't lure 1w because it's cramped. Obviously this is cpk but a hell of a rush. Priest does dispel (not only sanc but detects which may make you not see rush). You can unform people and make them come to you but i prefer just to give them dirs without unforming. Ice priest for sliver (5/6), shield of sanctity, hp robe that regens one charge of sanc (usually useless but if you get above 30 hps could be cool), and rose (useless). Get form out of cpk (n w d w for example), to n of demon.
- If you went to n of red, adjust your dirs, but you're basically going 1n of !mob. From n of blue demon go s u e s e e n and have form tick. Read your parchments (red blue green, in any order). What you're going to do is PUSH <color> <direction>. For example push red up, push green right, push blue right. Make sure to spell out the color and the direction. When done with all 3, turn crank. If you mess up, you will be ported to wilderness.
- Note: Technically you can do this by skipping one demon (1/6 chance of getting door right), 2 demon (1/36 chance of getting door right), or all 3 (1/216 chance). If you somehow forgot to loot a demon (parchment will det with corpse), you haven't self banked, but you'll need to guess. Also, you can't do priest without icing red/blue which also means you won't get a sliver.
- Once you get it right, door will open. Make sure to have everyone together and go 1n and close door behind you. Reclasta has a similar proc to nightmare beast (she fears you), but if the door is closed you cannot flee (this is the most annoying place to have autoflee trigger). She also procs pretty hard so ice her asap and heal a lot. Regardless of what happens, you'll probably be quite low when she dies. Loot for star (key for last sliver and making orb), strand (1/5 !N wrist), sash (Emage and Nmage 20+/20+ waist), ring (max is 5dr/-1ss/0wis galign), and staff (2H 7d8 80+mana/-2ss mage wield that basically procs acid blast).
- If you're banking (assuming you failed to cpk or are late), just open door and ice people as they flee out from proc. It's not gnpk from what I recall.
- If you're getting banked, one way that's worked for me is have one person conjure 3 or more eles, sanc them, and have them hit reclasta, flee out, and close door behind them. Let eles ice it or get it low meanwhile (I don't think they get hit by proc) while you're pking south of it.
- Leader go solo all s, all d, w n all w s all e s, 3w, s (you'll be at sleeping guardian), all w, all n d (where you searched with stone), and follow path e till cpk (2e 3s 2e d 3e). Sanc up and farsight down. From what I recall there should be seven hiddens in these rooms. For this reason by the way, i sometimes go back to Oak tree and summon form there so it's kinda close to rush if you get hit. d y d d e and you're out of cpk. unl open disk with star from reclasta,s, get sliver (6/6) and type ASSEMBLE ORB with all 6 slivers in inventory. You will have made a sanctity orb (20+hp/40+ mana galign light that gives perma bless). This orb is also one of the two comps for malwand (along with karakoram soulgem). Note there may be a few more hiddens if it quaked since a few hidden mobs load above cpk and they could have fallen in.
- Bonus. Take the path around the tower past guardian and find a sanced guard named Tivlok. Lure him and ice (he breaks traps and is semi hard, not soloable really). When he's dead search his corpse for his scarred hand and loot it. From guardian go s, all e, 2s, 4e,s,e,3n (ethereal/pick/open any archways/doors on the way). Give hand to velorian and he will give you an item (a useless helm, a useless hp wrist, or guantlets of sanctity which can tweak 4hr/35+hp for gthief).
- Done.
Additional Notes
- Oak is the closest LPK room for people to phase in, especially for cpking.
- You used to be able to hit guardian while he's asleep and wake him up, thereby making everyone inside (except you) !bank. That's no longer possible.
- MAKE SURE to loot slivers. If you corpse they'll poof. If you don't loot from corpse and corpse poofs, they poof with it (like spellbooks in bstone)
